Program Overview
Gain hands-on research experience at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer-Sheva, Israel. Open to undergraduate and graduate students, this flexible 3–12 month program connects you with BGU researchers working in your field of interest. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all internship, you’ll work with a faculty member to build an experience around your academic interests. Depending on the research project, you may participate in data collection and analysis, literature reviews, laboratory or fieldwork, and other aspects of ongoing research. With opportunities across BGU’s diverse faculties and research fields, the program is a chance to strengthen your academic and professional skills, build international research experience, and become part of BGU’s innovative campus community while experiencing life in Israel.

Can I live on campus during my internship?
Yes. On-campus housing in Beer-Sheva is available to internship participants for an additional fee and is subject to availability. Students can also take part in BGU campus life and optional trips and activities while experiencing life in Israel.
