I had a fantastic trip!
August 15, 2026by: Advait Madabhushi - United StatesThe Arcos Journey abroad was very fun, the cultural immersion aspect of it made my experience in Buenos Aires so fun. I especially enjoyed that we went on several excursions not just in Buenos Aires and within Argentina, but also the trip to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, was also a very enjoyable experience so I want to thank Arcos for this experience.

Safe environment to learn a new language and culture
December 24, 2025by: Jimmy JacobsonThe Arcos team provided excellent support, even though we registered late. The biggest benefits for my child were the safe environment while learning a new language and a new culture. This is a program you can trust! They truly looked after our child.
Excellent opportunity!
December 10, 2025by: Heather BrandonThis was an excellent opportunity, and we are so appreciative that this experience is offered. My daughter had an amazing experience, and the host family was perfectly matched! She learned a tremendous amount, from becoming more fluent in Spanish to navigating travel independently. Most importantly, she gained a deeper understanding of how people live outside the US and how much this world has to offer if you simply "jump in." Have faith in your children and let them go!
Ideal program
November 08, 2025by: Alicia BarkerThis program is ideal for independent students. Our daughter enjoyed her host family and neighborhood in Buenos Aires. The director, Beatriz, was great. The greatest benefit my daughter gained was improving her Spanish skills through the classes, program activities and the homestay.
Top notch
October 25, 2025by: Margaret PearsonArcos offers great programs for independent and culturally adventurous teens. We love these trips because they give your child more independence. I also like that it's a true cultural experience and not overly "high end", the teens are not coddled or given tons of special treatment. The activities were appropriate and fun and the Spanish lessons were top notch
Immense benefits
June 28, 2025by: Esme BarkerOn the Argentina program I explored a new city (Buenos Aires) and learned a lot of Spanish from my host family. While homesickness was a little bit of a challenge, the benefits were immense and it was definitely a great experience. Explore the city by walking to a store or cafe and checking out everything along the way.
Had so much fun
June 28, 2025by: Alahna BurnsAs a student on the Argentina Spanish Language & Culture program with Arcos, I got to experience so much of Buenos Aires. Made so many good memories
June 28, 2025by: Jean PearsonMy Spanish skills improved immensely, and I gained a much better understanding of South America. Make sure to utilize the public transportation. A main challenge for me was estimating travel times between locations. I made so many memries, from savoring delicious local dishes like pollo a la milanesa to exploring the beautiful Estancia La Cina Cina which was my favorite Arcos excursion. I especially loved the pottery activity where I made my own mate cup. Some of my most cherished memories came from simple moments, like sharing dinner with my host mom’s extended family. They made me truly feel welcomed.
