by: Arcadia Abroad

Add first reviewVerifiedSince 1853

From clans and clashes to the Vikings and the Romans, from monasticism to the Stuart monarchy, this is a hands-on exploration of Scottish history where Scotland is the classroom over four summer weeks. You will enroll in the Scottish History course with the option to add Curating, Interpretation, and Heritage: A Scottish Perspective if interested. While your studies will be based in Edinburgh, the past of Scotland will come to life as you live and breathe Scottish history through field excursions and site visits throughout the country. Various lenses, from archaeological to geological to historical to cultural, will be utilized to gain new insight and understanding of this fascinating land.
