This project is a great way to gain a broad, diverse experience in volunteering and in the culture of a local community in Africa. Get involved in a number of welfare and development programs, allowing you to obtain a broader volunteering and learning experience.

The project involves a two-day orientation and briefing in Arusha. A Swahili lesson will help you integrate better and have a more profound effect on the community. The placement is at a remote village near Lake Manyara, deep into the Maasai steppe. Here, you will participate in the following programs:

- Teach English, Sports, and Healthcare lessons
- Maasai Educational Community Outreach
- Orphanage Care and Development

Of course, this program isn’t all about work. You’ll also have the chance to relax or go on adventures in your free time.

The Community Development Project in the Maasai Bush runs for 2-6 weeks. You don’t need special qualifications to join.
