This J1 Intern and Trainee program allows university students and recent graduates with a major in Hospitality and Culinary Arts to temporarily live and work in the US. Gain invaluable experience while learning about the work culture within America’s hospitality industry.

Placements are available at prominent hotel chains, ski resorts, high-end resorts, restaurants, amusement parks, national parks, and golf clubs, among others. This internship and training program helps improve your skills while working for some of the world’s leaders in hospitality and culinary arts.

Eligibility for this program:
Interns
Must currently be a full-time student or
Recent graduate (no more than 12 months) with a post-secondary academic degree from an institution outside of the U.S.
Must speak fluent English
Must commit to leaving the U.S. within 30 days following the last day of the J1 program
Positions are 6 – 12 months in duration

Trainees
Must be a recent graduate or
Professional with at least 5 years of related work experience
Must speak excellent English
Must commit to leaving the U.S. within 30 days following the last day of the J1 program
Positions are 6 – 18* months in duration
