This was the first time i had travelled on my own. All the the staff made me feel very welcome and safe. The project was really fun i participated in circle games, supported a day of football, went to a game reserve and got to help some children on the first swimming lesson. I also really enjoyed supporting the children at the homework clubs. As well a getting to have amazing experiences on the weekend.

I worked in this project from January to March and it was good fun! The volunteering experience is really rewarding and the accommodation is beautiful as well. Be aware to choose your volunteering time within Swaziland's school terms- otherwise your experience might be a little disappointing as there's not a lot of work to do.

The program aims to foster development among these kids by helping them get fit, healthy, focused, and stimulated — all while building their confidence through physical activities. The project was established in response to a need in the tiny but lovely Kingdom. Poverty and high levels of unemployment plague the country, leaving few opportunities to keep children engaged. This boredom can lead to antisocial activities, which are addressed by games and sports that hold the potential of improving the lives of disadvantaged children. During the mornings, volunteers help arrange physic...
