AKO Language School

AKO Language School is an independent Spanish language school based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, dedicated to helping international students learn Spanish through meaningful communication and authentic cultural experiences.

We believe that learning a language goes beyond textbooks and grammar exercises. Our teaching approach combines personalized instruction, practical conversation, and real-life situations to help students develop confidence and use Spanish naturally in everyday life.

We offer private one-on-one lessons, small group classes, intensive Spanish courses, cultural immersion programs, and live online instruction. Our programs welcome learners of different levels and backgrounds, including international travelers, expats, digital nomads, and professionals.

With native Mexican Spanish-speaking teachers, small classes of up to six students, and flexible learning options, we create a supportive environment where every student can progress at their own pace.

Located in the heart of Playa del Carmen, AKO also offers opportunities to experience Mexican culture through social activities, conversation practice, and local experiences, with accommodation options available for immersion students.

More Than A Language School — a real Spanish experience.
