Program Highlights

This program provides 40 hours of German instruction alongside DIVE sessions, which will provide context to your language learning. Cultural topics (e.g. food, lifestyle) will be part of your classes!
Both in and out of the classroom, you’ll have the unique opportunity to make friends from other cultures and countries around the world.
Because most of your program will take place in Mannheim – a city full of innovation and unique history – you’ll embark on a city walking tour and get to know the area outside of your classes.
You’ll spend a weekend visiting one of the most iconic and exciting cities in the world: Berlin! You'll visit the Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust Memorial, Reichstag exterior, East Side Gallery, and more.
At the end of your trip, you’ll explore the breathtaking city of Heidelberg – full of ancient architecture and home to the oldest university in Germany (founded in 1386)!
