Adjah Volunteer Project

Adjah Cancer Support Ghana is a registered non-profit organization based in Ho in Ghana's Volta Region, committed to improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and communities through healthcare, education, volunteerism, and sustainable community development. Founded on the belief that no one should face cancer alone, we work to reduce the burden of cancer while addressing other social challenges that affect underserved populations. Our core mission is to provide hope, support, and practical assistance to children and adults living with cancer. We organize cancer awareness campaigns, promote early detection and screening, assist patients with medications and chemotherapy costs, provide transportation and nutritional support, and work closely with hospitals to improve access to quality care. We also support pediatric oncology units with essential medical supplies and advocate for better cancer care across Ghana. Beyond healthcare, we believe that strong communities are built through education and opportunity. Our organization implements educational programs that provide school supplies, scholarships, literacy support, and volunteer teaching opportunities in local schools. Through these initiatives, we help children gain access to quality education while creating meaningful cultural exchange experiences for international volunteers. We also engage in community development projects focused on environmental sustainability, women's empowerment, youth development, sanitation,
