This is your chance to teach English in one of the best locations abroad. Chile! Teaching English will not only help you learn about the native language in Chile but also benefit your career path by expanding your resume. Our teaching English internships are second to none, with opportunities to teach children or adults. Some tasks in the classroom may include creating teaching materials, developing activities, and giving lessons in conversation.

Live alongside the locals in Viña del Mar and Valparaíso so you can experience the life and culture of this wonderful country. Adelante provides you with housing, 2 weeks of Spanish classes, some excursions, your hand-selected internship placement, and 24/7 in-country support. Our programs are economical and well-designed for independent travelers, which gives you the freedom to create your own experience abroad.

Participation in this program will improve your resume while providing an incredible opportunity to become fluent in Spanish. College credit is available! Just speak to your university advisors to see how you can get university credit in an internship program abroad! Submit a $325 application deposit to secure your spot!

Do I need to speak Spanish to participate?

Nope! Beginner Spanish speakers are absolutely welcome. You don’t need to speak Spanish to participate—our Teaching English programs are designed so you can fully enjoy your experience while teaching English and immersing yourself in Chilean culture.

How soon do I need to apply to a Teaching English Internship Program?

Apply early! Our Teaching English Internship Programs fill up fast, so we recommend submitting your application at least 60 days before your start date.

Can I participate if I’ve never taught before?

Absolutely! No prior teaching experience is required. Our programs are designed for beginners, and you’ll receive all the guidance and support you need to succeed while gaining real classroom experience.

Will I get to experience Chilean culture outside of teaching?
