Set just outside the heart of Edinburgh, this immersive program places students within a globally respected hub for botanical research and environmental conservation - the Royal Botanic Garden of Edinburgh. Spanning an expansive landscape of curated gardens and natural habitats, it offers a dynamic setting to explore how plant science connects to real-world ecological challenges. Participants take part in ongoing research and observation projects that may include studying plant diversity, tracking species health, and contributing to conservation efforts. Depending on current initiatives, students might also support horticultural teams with garden maintenance, gaining insight into both the scientific and practical sides of botanical work. During the five-week experience, students live together in their own private bedroom in shared accommodations in Edinburgh, creating a collaborative and supportive environment throughout their time abroad.
