The Summer Intensives at Accademia dell’Arte offer an immersive 4-week experience designed to deepen your artistic voice and expand your performance skills. Set in the inspiring Villa Godiola, surrounded by the timeless beauty of Tuscany, you’ll live and create within a close-knit, supportive community where daily life and artistic practice blend seamlessly. Whether focusing on Physical Theatre or Dance, you’ll engage with dynamic training and innovative techniques central to the contemporary performer’s craft. The program balances self-generated work with ensemble collaboration and encourages critical reflection through meaningful discussions on art’s vital role in today’s socio-political and educational landscapes. Following the core program, the optional Fifth Week invites you to extend your creative journey by collaborating closely with faculty and guest artists. Guided by Sam McGehee, this week culminates in a public sharing, giving you a powerful platform to present your work and connect deeply with an engaged and appreciative audience.
