What is your favorite part of your job?

My favorite part of my job is helping young people gain the confidence to stand up for themselves and their future. I identify with the challenges they face, and empowering them to navigate those obstacles is deeply fulfilling. Watching them grow into stronger, more self-assured individuals is incredibly rewarding.

How do you use your education and international background in your current role?

My education in community resource management provides me with valuable knowledge and skills for engaging with diverse communities. It has equipped me to effectively address their needs and challenges. Additionally, this background has helped me build a strong personal brand, enhancing my ability to connect with others and excel in my role.

What advice would you give your pre-travel self?

I would tell my pre-travel self to embrace open-mindedness and stay curious about new cultures, people, and experiences. Every adventure offers something to learn, and approaching it with eagerness will make the journey even more rewarding. Always be ready to explore with an open heart and mind, welcoming each moment.

What is your organization's mission, and how do you continue to work toward it?

Currently, I am developing engaging methods to promote education among vulnerable children who lack access to learning opportunities. Additionally, I facilitate life skills topics centered on personal development and branding. This work helps young people become responsible citizens, empowering them to make a meaningful difference in their communities.

What do you hope participants take away from your programs?

I hope participants take away a sense of fulfillment from my programs. My goal is to assist and guide them in pursuing their passions away from home, helping them recognize their potential. By creating an encouraging environment, I aim to instill confidence and motivation, empowering them to make a meaningful impact in their lives.

What questions do participants often ask you, and how do you typically respond?

Participants often ask me if I have traveled abroad. I respond honestly that I haven’t had the opportunity yet. However, I express my eagerness for any future chances to travel, as I believe that experiencing new cultures can greatly enhance my perspective and enrich my understanding, both personally and professionally.

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?

Traveling abroad is important because it provides exposure to diverse cultures and perspectives, enriching your understanding of the world. It offers invaluable learning experiences that foster personal growth and adaptability. Additionally, immersing yourself in new environments helps you appreciate life in all its forms, enhancing your overall outlook.

Why do you think learning a new language is important?

Learning a new language is important because it enhances your ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, giving you a competitive edge in communication. It also opens up opportunities for travel and work in countries where that language is spoken. Additionally, mastering a new language is a valuable skill that enriches personal and professional growth.

What advice do you have for individuals thinking about going abroad?

My advice for individuals considering going abroad is to embrace the opportunity wholeheartedly. It's a great thought that can lead to personal growth and new experiences. Take proactive steps to manifest this dream, whether through research, planning, or connecting with others. Make it happen, and enjoy the journey!

What does meaningful travel mean to you?

To me, meaningful travel is about personal and professional development. It aims to broaden my perspective, deepen my understanding of diverse cultures, and expand my network. Through these experiences, I can grow as an individual, gain valuable insights, and build connections that enrich both my life and career.
