What inspired you to work for Mondify?
It helps me use other languages and expand my communication skills, while at the same time connecting with people from different cultures and parts of the world. This not only enriches my personal growth but also allows me to build meaningful relationships, share knowledge, and collaborate effectively while working on what I truly love to do.
Describe a typical day at work.
I usually start my day by reviewing my to-do list and identifying the tasks that can be completed quickly. Finishing those first helps me build momentum and stay motivated. Once those are out of the way, I dedicate my time and energy to the more complex or demanding tasks, which require deeper focus and problem-solving. This method allows me to stay organized, efficient, and productive throughout the day.

Why do you do what you do?
I am in charge of keeping the website and social media platforms consistently updated, ensuring that the content is engaging and relevant. I also handle different aspects of graphic design, creating visuals that strengthen communication and branding. In addition, I conduct interviews with volunteers, which allows me to share their experiences, highlight their contributions, and build a stronger sense of community. This combination of responsibilities helps me develop both my creative and interpersonal skills while making a meaningful impact.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Being able to talk to people from other countries gives me the opportunity to broaden my perspective and learn from different cultures. At the same time, I can apply my knowledge in multiple areas, both in design and in software development. This combination allows me to grow professionally, strengthen my creativity, and contribute with innovative solutions that merge technical skills with aesthetic vision.
What challenges do you often face, and how do you overcome them?
Part of my job is to solve problems, so I am constantly looking for effective and creative ways to address them. I don’t just focus on fixing what is wrong, but also on understanding the root cause and preventing the same issue from happening again. This proactive approach helps me contribute to long-term solutions and continuous improvement.
What advice would you give your pre-travel self?
For me, one of the most important things is to be open-minded and enjoy the experience. Approaching new situations with curiosity and a positive attitude allows me to adapt, learn, and grow. It also helps me embrace different perspectives, connect with people from diverse backgrounds, and truly make the most out of every opportunity, whether personal or professional.

We hope participants take away a meaningful experience of connecting with new people and immersing themselves in different cultures. Beyond learning and exploration, we aim for our programs to create a positive and lasting impact on the volunteers’ lives, helping them grow personally, gain new perspectives, and feel inspired to make a difference in their communities and the world.
How do you help support participants?
We support participants by providing comprehensive guidance and resources throughout their entire experience. This includes personalized assistance before arrival, clear instructions and orientation upon arrival, and ongoing support during the program. We ensure that students feel confident navigating new environments, adapting to different cultures, and making the most of both their language learning and volunteering experiences. Our team is always available to answer questions, offer advice, and create a safe, enriching, and memorable journey for every participant.

If you could participate in one of your organization's programs, where would you go and what would you do?
If I could participate in one of Mondify’s programs, I would join the Human Rights program. I would work closely with local communities to support initiatives that promote equality, justice, and awareness. This experience would allow me to apply my skills, learn from diverse perspectives, and contribute to meaningful projects that create a positive impact while deepening my understanding of human rights issues in a real-world context.
