What inspired you to work for iXperience?
I was inspired to work at iXperience because of my passion for international education and technology. I think the program is unique and exciting for students and iXperience team members. There is a gap in higher education and the workplace, I have certainly felt it, and I found that being part of a team that tries to bridge the gap is inspiring.

Cape Town allows me to explore my creative skills
Describe a typical day at work.
At work, my days are filled with many tasks and opportunities to speak with students. I am the voice that answers students as I am the first point of contact beyond the website.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I love being social in my job and being an Admissions Consultant allows me to speak and engage with so many people. I also enjoy being able to interact with all of the departments in the company.
What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?
I would tell myself to make sure that I double-check my packing lists. Also, I would make sure my layovers account for flight delays, so I don't miss any flights in the future.
What hopes do you have for the future of iXperience?
I hope that the iXperience continues to grow more inclusive and bring in students from all degree programs, backgrounds, and interests. I have found this company to be very proactive in this and I hope it continues.
What makes iXperience easy to market to potential participants?
It is different than any other study abroad program. It combines multiple study abroad models into one that caters to education, skills-development, and career development.
Cape Town is an adventure and it never gets old
If you could participate in one of iXperience’s programs, where would you go and what would you do?
I would take the Management Consulting course in Berlin. I have always enjoyed pushing myself and I think the Management Consulting class encourages students to think critically and problem solve. Also, Berlin has a character and a culture I am interested in exploring.
What does meaningful travel mean to you?
Meaningful travel means that you are open-minded to the culture of the city or country. Also, it means being open to new ideas and changes in your own life that last long after the experience.
