What inspired you to work for English Wizards?
I used to be an English teacher, and it was such a joy being part of someone's language development. While I loved spending time with students, I discovered how much fun it was to meet new teachers. That's what really lured me in—the fact that I get to meet wonderful teachers on a daily basis who share the same love for language is simply amazing!
I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of a company that has such a big heart for helping teachers achieve their European dreams! It’s an incredible privilege to support and empower educators on their journey to new adventures!
Describe a typical day at work.
It all starts with a good cup of joe, of course! I have the incredible privilege of interviewing teachers every day, and I love bringing that extra energy to pump them up for their new European adventures.
The transition from reading their resumes to meeting them virtually and then eventually in person is such an exhilarating experience! I can’t even explain the joy it brings—it's not just about the professional connections; I end up making new friends along the way!

Why do you do what you do?
Thanks to my love for psychology, I’m quite the social butterfly, always on the lookout for opportunities to meet new people. English Wizards has blessed me with just that chance!
I can't even begin to express how amazing it is to support teachers on their journeys—not only as they explore new territories but also as they contribute their skills to the ESL industry in Poland. Poland really prioritizes work-life balance, which is a luxury many teachers don’t often get. I love being part of a team that helps them access that privilege, and it makes my work truly fulfilling!
What is your favorite part of your job?
Being part of English Wizards is truly the best of both worlds! I get to explore diverse cultures and customs through the incredible teachers I meet, and hearing their stories helps me grow as an individual. It’s taught me to embrace and love our differences!
Just the thought that I can lead them toward a better, more stable career with the support of English Wizards is absolutely priceless. I couldn’t ask for a more fulfilling experience!
How do you use your education and international background in your current role?
Let me break it down for you!
PSYCHOLOGY:
Psychologists dive into the fascinating connections between brain function, behavior, and how our environment shapes us. That’s what hooked me on psychology! It helps me understand the unique needs of individuals and encourages me to look beyond the surface. I’ve learned to never judge someone by their outward gestures but to dig deeper to see where they’re coming from. This insight is invaluable in my current role, where I can truly connect with our fellow teachers and reassure them that they’re making a lifetime investment!
MASS COMMUNICATION:
For me, mass communication is all about spreading the word! As a voice-over artist, I’ve gathered some fantastic experience in photography, content creation, picture and video editing, and scriptwriting. Now, I’m channeling all that creativity into my current role to shine a spotlight on our amazing company! My philosophy? When something is incredible, the whole world needs to know about it!
What challenges do you often face, and how do you overcome them?
As someone who thrives on meeting new people, my biggest challenge is often earning their trust. We live in a chaotic world that has left many with trust issues. Through my experiences volunteering in orphanages and youth groups, I've learned that gaining trust requires time and effort. I make it a point to consistently encourage and connect with each individual until they feel confident enough to trust me. Once that trust is established, I make a commitment never to break it!
Conquer mountains by stepping out of your comfort zone! So, don’t hold back—take that leap, face those fears, and watch yourself rise to new heights!
What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?
If I could give my pre-travel self some advice, it would be to embrace every opportunity to connect with new people and cultures. BE READY TO BE EXPOSED TO NEW TERRITORIES BECAUSE BEHIND EACH ONE IS A VALUABLE LESSON.
I’ve learned that building trust takes time and effort, so I would remind myself to be patient and persistent in nurturing those connections. Also, I’d say to keep an open mind and be ready to step outside my comfort zone—after all, the most incredible experiences often come from doing what scares you! Lastly, remember to enjoy the journey and appreciate the differences that make each person and country unique; they can teach you so much about the world!

If I were to summarize it, English Wizards' mission is all about empowering teachers! Our goal is to create a vibrant, supportive community that fosters professional growth and personal development while guiding teachers through the exciting journey of relocating and adapting to new environments. We are dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and enhancing the quality of English language education through a passionate network of educators who truly care.
As a lover of psychology, I’m driven by a deep desire to help others. This passion fuels my commitment to supporting more teachers through English Wizards. What do you hope participants take away from your programs?
I hope participants take away a profound sense of empowerment and belonging from our programs. I want them to feel confident in their ability to teach English abroad and to embrace the cultural exchange that comes with it. Through our supportive community, I aim for them to develop meaningful connections with fellow educators, gain valuable insights into their own teaching practices, and navigate the challenges of relocating with ease. Ultimately, I want them to leave our programs not just as teachers, but as ambassadors of language and culture, equipped to make a positive impact in their new environments and inspire their students along the way!
I help support participants by creating a warm and welcoming environment where they feel valued and understood. From the moment they join our program, I’m dedicated to empowering them throughout their journey to teach English abroad. This includes providing resources and guidance to navigate the relocation process, ensuring they have all the information they need to adapt to their new environments.
I also focus on fostering a strong sense of community among participants, encouraging them to connect with each other and share their experiences. This support network allows them to learn from one another, build friendships, and gain confidence in their abilities as educators. My goal is to help them realize their potential, thrive in their teaching roles, and embrace the enriching cultural experiences that come with living and teaching abroad!
If you could participate in one of your organization's programs, where would you go and what would you do?
I’m all in for the Placement Package of the Teach in Poland Program! Why? Because it takes care of 80% of the legwork for you, giving you peace of mind knowing that everything—accommodation and a job—is already lined up! As someone who adores medieval settings, I truly believe that every city in Poland has its own unique magic waiting to be discovered. I can’t wait to dive into the rich history and charm of each location through this program. It’s an amazing opportunity to not only teach but to experience the enchanting culture and beauty of Poland firsthand! Let the adventure begin!

Why is it important for people to travel abroad and experience new cultures?
Traveling abroad and experiencing new cultures is incredibly important! It helps us see the world in a different light and appreciate the unique traditions and perspectives that each culture offers. When we dive into new environments, we break down barriers and connect with people from all backgrounds. That's what I have been experiencing through English Wizards and it's an experience that can't be bought my money!
Travel fuels personal growth and helps us learn more about ourselves and others. It challenges our assumptions and encourages us to embrace differences, fostering empathy and open-mindedness. Plus, who doesn’t love the excitement of exploring charming medieval towns, trying out delicious new foods, and making unforgettable memories? Traveling abroad is a wonderful adventure that enriches our lives and helps us become more well-rounded individuals.
What advice do you have for individuals thinking about going abroad?
We grow more by leaving our comfort zones! If you’re thinking about going abroad, my advice is simple: just go for it! Embrace the adventure and step outside your comfort zone—you’ll be amazed at what you discover! Don’t hesitate to dive into the local culture, try new foods, and connect with the people around you. Each experience will teach you something new and help you grow in ways you might not expect.
It’s also important to keep an open mind and be flexible. Traveling can come with its ups and downs (for instance, immigration can get crazy!), but those challenges often turn into the best stories. Remember, this isn’t just a trip; it’s a chance for personal growth and exploration. So pack your bags, bring your sense of curiosity, and get ready for an incredible journey! The world has so much to offer, and you’ll be glad you took the plunge!
What does meaningful travel mean to you?
To me, meaningful travel is all about exploring God's incredible creations and truly experiencing the beauty of our world. It’s a chance to discover what makes each society thrive—its unique customs, traditions, and ways of life. Through travel, we learn the importance of acceptance, recognizing that no two people are the same, and that’s what makes our world so rich and vibrant.
Meaningful travel also pushes us out of our comfort zones, allowing us to adapt and grow in ways we might never have imagined. It opens our eyes to different perspectives and helps us appreciate the diversity that exists all around us. Each journey is a beautiful opportunity to connect with others, learn from their experiences, and expand our understanding of what it means to be human.
