General Manager, Quito Tourism Board

Veronica was appointed as General Manager of Quito Turismo in February 2017. In her role, she leads strategic planning for tourism promotion and development with the objective of increasing tourism arrivals, spending, promote longer stays, and drive investment and tourism development in Quito. Veronica earned her bachelor’s degree in human sciences and religion at the Technical University of Loja, and she also holds a master’s degree in tourism management from the Technological University of Monterrey in Mexico. She brings extensive experience in developing tourism companies throughout South America with her to the Quito Tourism Board.
