Michelle McCloskey graduated with an MS in Public Policy from Drexel  University and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from UT-Austin. She is an alumna of the CLS  program (Turkey, 2011) and is the founder of Linguaphile, a non-profit devoted to providing free  online resources for less-commonly taught, endangered, and diaspora languages. She currently  lives in Brooklyn, NY.
