Not quite your typical 27-year old, Mary Beth left behind the stressful rat race in Atlanta, Georgia when she joined the Peace Corps in 2010. Since then, she has been in Boquete, Panama perfecting her Spanish, working with indigenous communities, and becoming an expert in Panama's growing tourism industry with Habla Ya Spanish Schools. Now with a Panamanian partner, she has no plans to leave anytime soon. In her free time, she plans future travel, plays with her husky puppy and undomesticated kitten, and works on her two personal blogs: Naïve to Cultured and please, child.
