After four years reporting for a news service in Baltimore, James found himself in vastly different circumstances, leading U.S. high school semesters in the former Tibetan Buddhist kingdom of Ladakh, India. This experience propelled him headfirst into the field of education abroad, which he explored as a grad student in Philadelphia, and now through his current position with InterExchange in New York City.
