GoAbroad Advertiser Terms & Conditions
By advertising on GoAbroad.com you (“Advertiser”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of these Advertiser Terms & Conditions, as well as the GoAbroad.com Privacy Policy and Client Account Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all of the terms of these privacy policies, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue advertising on GoAbroad.com.
Advertising Policies
Advertising Terms
The following terms apply to advertisements on all GoAbroad.com's directories and subsidiary sites. By requesting, purchasing, and submitting advertising on GoAbroad.com, each Advertiser accepts and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions:
- An agreement will only be formed between GoAbroad and Advertiser when GoAbroad generates an invoice for proposed advertising.
- All materials for any and all advertising must be provided no later than the deadline specified by the GoAbroad team, and in accordance with the technical material specification requested by the Advertiser's GoAbroad Account Manager.
- The Advertiser guarantees to GoAbroad.com that:
- All advertisement content provided is accurate, complete, honest, and not misleading
- If advertising includes names and/or images and videos of any living person, Advertiser has obtained the consent of relevant living person
- All photos/videos submitted must the property of the Advertiser, not include any crude or malicious content or text, and abide by all the Image and Video Submission Policies of GoAbroad.com
- GoAbroad has the right to reject any advertisement content or proposal provided by Advertiser at any time (even if the Advertising has previously been published on GoAbroad.com).
- If the Advertiser is an advertising agency or media buyer representing a company, the advertising agency/media buyer guarantees that it is authorized by the company to place an advertisement(s) on GoAbroad.com and negotiate/coordinate any and all advertising.
- All advertising fees are payable based on the applicable rates stated on the Invoice. However, GoAbroad has the right to change advertising rates at any time, and when changed, the new rates will take effect immediately. But, any changes to the applicable rates will not apply to advertising purchases made prior to the date of such rate changes. In the event that rates change, Advertiser will be notified upon time of renewal or upgrade by their GoAbroad Account Manager or another team member assigned to their account.
- Advertiser agrees to pay GoAbroad.com on or before the agreed date of payment as stated on the Invoice. All invoices are due upon receipt, unless an installment plan has been agreed upon by the Advertiser and Account Manager. In the event that advertiser does not pay on the payment deadline(s) and/or each subsequent due date (if offered by the Account Manager), GoAbroad.com will assess a late fee of 5% and will send an updated invoice which will include this charge.
- Offered payment plans may include but are not limited to, and will be determined at the discretion of the GoAbroad Account Manager:
- Upon receipt of the invoice
- Quarterly
- An agreed upon number of installments
- An alternative payment plan agreed upon in writing by the GoAbroad Account Manager or another GoAbroad Team Member and the Advertiser
- Advertisers are given a two-week grace period for their package renewal in the event they have yet to finalize a new advertising package. After two weeks, GoAbroad.com reserves the right to pull all advertisements or add a prorated cost to the upcoming invoice in order to keep the ads live during the discussion period. Advertisers are given the choice between these two options; if we do not receive a response about the preference, the default will be the latter option.
- Cancellation of advertising packages/plans should be made one month before planned launch date or advertisement publication date by notifying your GoAbroad Account Manager or emailing [email protected]. If features are cancelled within one month of scheduled launch date, GoAbroad.com has the right to invoice Advertiser for 25% of the cost of this feature or retain any payments that have already been made in cases where they are unable to fill the advertising space.
- A non-refundable 20% reservation fee will be required from Advertiser if they wish to reserve features for future scheduled advertisements. This fee will be due one year before the requested reservation date, or as determined by the GoAbroad Account Manager.
Advertising Payment Processing Policies
Payment Authorization & Payment Remittance
Your billing information is secure through our database and you can view all billing details through your client account here. By using your GoAbroad Client Account to submit payments, you authorize GoAbroad LLC to direct you to a third party payment processing site for secure payment submission.
GoAbroad LCC will use its best efforts to process all your payments promptly, securely, and successfully. However, GoAbroad shall incur no liability and any GoAbroad LLC service shall be void if the payment processing is unable to be completed for any payments initiated by you because of the existence of any one or more of the following circumstances:
- If, through no fault of GoAbroad LLC, your Payment Account does not contain sufficient funds to complete the transaction or the transaction would exceed the credit limit of your overdraft account;
- The payment processing platform is not working properly and you know or have been advised by GoAbroad LLC about the malfunction before you execute the transaction;
- You have not provided GoAbroad LLC with the correct Payment Account information, or the correct name, address, phone number, or account information for the Provider;
- Circumstances beyond the control of GoAbroad LLC (such as, but not limited to, fire, flood, or interference from an outside force) prevent the proper execution of the transaction and GoAbroad LLC has taken reasonable precautions to avoid and resolve said circumstances.
Provided none of the foregoing exceptional circumstances are applicable, if GoAbroad LLC causes an incorrect amount of funds to be removed from your Payment Account or causes funds from your Payment Account to be removed in a way that does not comply with your Payment Instructions, GoAbroad LLC shall be responsible for returning the improperly transferred funds to the your Payment Account, encoding on the proper Invoice any previously misdirected transactions, and, if applicable, resolving any late payment related charges.
Payment Methods
GoAbroad reserves the right to select the method in which Invoices will be remitted by the Client. These payment methods may include, but are not limited to, an electronic payment, an electronic to check payment, or a physical check sent in the mail.
Payment Processing Fees
Depending on the payment method selected, payments may be subject to payment processing fees which are determined by our payment processing platform. Payment processing fees will be added on to the Total Invoice amount due.
Accepted Currencies
GoAbroad requires payments to be made in USD under most circumstances. All payments submitted via Paypal and Stripe will be required to be converted from any foreign currency to USD before submission, with exchange rates shouldered by the client. Payments by check must be made in USD, and all Wires should be submitted in USD whenever possible.
Payment Cancellation Requests
You may cancel or edit any Scheduled Payment (including recurring payments) by following the directions within the payment processing platform. There is no charge for canceling or editing a Scheduled Payment. However, once GoAbroad LLC has begun processing a payment, it cannot be cancelled or edited, therefore a stop payment request must be submitted to the Client's Personal Account Manager or by contacting [email protected].
Advertising Data & Payment Information Privacy Policies
How We Collect, Utilize, & Share Advertiser Data
Except as otherwise stated in this privacy policy, GoAbroad will not disclose Advertiser Data or Payment Information collected through our Site to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by GoAbroad, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the GoAbroad Terms of Service or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of GoAbroad.
Advertising Information
We never share our Advertiser Data, including but not limited to: advertiser contact information, details of advertising packages/proposals/reservations, and any personalized terms of advertising, with third parties or outside entities without prior explicit consent in writing from the Advertiser. All Advertiser Information is collected and stored in our Internal Admin System and/or kept confidential to our internal team, except for the content of advertisements agreed to be publicly published on GoAbroad.com or any other entities controlled and maintained by GoAbroad LLC.
Payment Information
We never share our Advertisers' Payment Information with third parties or outside entities without prior explicit consent in writing from the Advertiser, except as required by the Advertising Payment Processing Policies outlined above. All Payment Information is collected and stored in our Internal Admin System and/or payment processing platform, and kept confidential to our internal team that manages all invoicing and billing for advertising on GoAbroad.com, or any other entities controlled and maintained by GoAbroad LLC.

How We Safely Store Data
We use industry standard measures to protect all information that is stored on our servers and within our database. We limit access to this information to those employees who need access to perform their job function.

Email Marketing Policies
Strict adherence to CAN-SPAM Act of 2003
Just like you, we hate spam. We have never sent spam or junk emails, and our mailing practice strictly conforms to the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. However, if you willingly provide GoAbroad with your contact information / email address by creating an account and opting to publish advertising on our Site, we will send notices from time to time related to your status as a GoAbroad Advertiser or your advertising on GoAbroad.com. This permission is expressed in our Consent Checkbox and specific terms and conditions outlined below.
Advertiser Newsletter
GoAbroad.com sends regular Advertiser Newsletters to share useful updates (i.e. site changes, new products, marketing tips, opportunities to meet the GoAbroad team, etc.) with all Advertisers who have an GoAbroad Client Account on our Site. These newsletters are sent to ensure we provide the best possible service to our Advertisers, and our greater community. Advertiser Account Updates & Notices
By creating an account on GoAbroad.com or adding/being added as a user of an existing GoAbroad account, you consent to receive periodic updates and communications related to the status of the associated account and advertising on GoAbroad.com from our internal team directly, as well as automatic emails sent through our Administrative System. If you would like to be unsubscribed from all emails associated with your GoAbroad Client Account, please update your preferences or delete yourself as a contact in your Client Account here.

Coverage & Limitation of These Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions and any other legal notices, privacy policies, or terms and conditions published by GoAbroad on the Site, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and GoAbroad concerning your advertising contract with GoAbroad. If any provision of these Advertiser Terms is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any one provision set forth in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision, and GoAbroad's failure to assert or enforce any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoAbroad and its principals, shareholders, agents, officers, directors, consultants, and employees from or against third-party claims, damages, payments, deficiencies, fines, judgments, settlements, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from or relating to any third-party claim, suit, action or proceeding arising out of the breach of GoAbroad's representations and warranties contained herein.
Changes to these Advertiser Terms & Conditions
GoAbroad reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Advertiser Terms & Conditions and our Advertising Policy outlined above at any time. If you object to any of the policies outlined above, you may cease advertising on our Site. Continued advertising on GoAbroad.com following notice of any such changes shall indicate your acknowledgment of such changes and agreement to be bound by these Advertiser terms and conditions, including such changes.
