NOTE: The Madrid and Mallorca Language trip runs for 13 days but can be extended to 18 days to include the Barcelona portion of the itinerary and 5 extra days of language classes. Please contact our office to discuss pricing for the 13 day and 18 day trip.
Our innovative Spanish language and cultural exploration program combines the best of Spain with an effective linguistics course that doesn’t keep you cooped up all day. Classes are offered each weekday morning in both Madrid and Barcelona (for those opting for the 13 day trip, classes are in Madrid only). Class is followed by fun, practical learning arranged by your bilingual counselors; scavenger hunts, trips to the markets, or navigating across the city by asking for directions.
In Madrid you'll marvel at countless works of art in the Museo Del Prado, relax in the Parque de Retiro, take in the splendour of the Royal Palace and enjoy the nearby medieval towns of Segovia and Toledo.
We'll then take a short flight to Palma De Mallorca, a beautiful island located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. Spend a day on a catamaran swimming and eating a BBQ buffet, lie out on the Cala Major beach, stroll the harbour promenade where some of the world’s largest super yachts are anchored, and eat delicious Catalan cuisine.
For those continuing on, your final destination is Barcelona. As in Madrid, you'll undertake 2 hours of language courses daily, then take in the awe-inspiring sights of this cutting edge city. You'll tour the maze-like Gothic Quarter by bike, gaze in wonder at Gaudi's masterpiece the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, shop till you drop along the electric Las Ramblas avenue, and feast on paella and traditional Spanish tapas.
