    A Broader View offers immersion programs in La Ceiba, Honduras; Cusco, Peru, Quito, Ecuador and in Costa Rica. The projects are 1 to 4 weeks, program includes:

    * Home stay with Honduran Family includes private bedroom and bathroom
    * 3 meals a day
    * Cultural weekend activities (cooking classes, dance lessons, nature hikes & more)
    * Airport arrival and departure transfers
    * Orientation and sightseeing day in the arrival city.
    * Local project director available 24/7 hr
    * Volunteer opportunities within the community (orphanages, schools, clinics)

    Special Programs Offered:

    * Medical Spanish
    * Business Spanish
    * Spanish program for families
    * Spanish for travelers
    * Conversational Spanish

    Program Includes:

    * Airport arrival and departure transportation
    * Orientation and sightseeing day with local ABV staff
    * Host family or guesthouse accommodation: private room
    * Three meals per day included, 7 days a week
    * Project briefing, transport to project site and 24/7hr support from ABV Project Director
    * Departure transfer at the end of the program

  • Highlights

    Language & Cultural Immersion: Delve into a new language! We provide you the chance to fully immerse into Honduran culture and learn Spanish.

    Spanish is taught on a one on one student teacher ratio or up to three students per group, focusing in conversation practice, grammar, readings and the vocabulary according to the student level and needs. The program is based in 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day from Monday through Friday. Students at all levels are welcome. The school is located in the center of town, 4 blocks away from the ocean. You choose morning or afternoon classes, offered 7:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The remainder of your day you will volunteer at a local orphanage or school helping children learn English.
