Are you fascinated by cetaceans—whales, dolphins, and porpoises? Our program offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the research and conservation of these incredible animals in the Mediterranean Sea.

You can join for an internship or volunteer for 4 to 12 weeks, but we recommend a stay of at least 8 weeks to complete comprehensive training with the local organization. You'll learn valuable research skills, including GIS mapping, survey planning, and the use of software like Excel and R.

You'll also gain hands-on experience in the field. Your tasks may include boat-based surveys to observe and photograph dolphins, collect data, perform photo-identification, and raise awareness among the public and stakeholders about marine conservation.

This hands-on experience is perfect for students and graduates in marine biology or related fields, but it can also be done by anyone with a passion for marine life. The program provides an immersive experience in scientific fieldwork and marine conservation, while also allowing you to explore the natural beauty of Montenegro's coastline and national parks.
