The Undergraduate Program in Central European Studies (UPCES) is a semester-long study abroad program located in the center of historic Prague. This program offers a comprehensive education to international students: encompassing not only academic subject material but foreign language, wider perspectives, and deeper cultural immersion.
UPCES meshes course material relevant to Central Europe with a diverse array of liberal arts courses. Classes are taught in the Schebek Palace, by a range of scholars, industry specialists, and respected public figures.
UPCES students are encouraged to make the most of their time abroad in Prague, and excursions, trips, and cultural immersion activities are offered to facilitate the exploration of the Czech Republic and Central Europe.
A semester in Prague with UPCES is truly a journey of learning and discovery, opening up new worlds, perspectives, places, and friendships to study abroad students.
