The Hebrew language semester program, also known as the Semester Ulpan, is designed for people who want to immerse themselves in a language acquisition experience that is personally enriching as well as academically demanding. The program focuses on strengthening all four major skills: writing, reading, speaking, and comprehension. Instruction is offered at all levels from beginners with no knowledge of the language to advanced classes. Students who only want to enroll in a Hebrew course of the International School are considered part-time students. During the academic semesters (September – January, and February – June) Hebrew classes meet four days per week, Mondays through Thursdays, for two hours each morning either from 8 am-10 am or 10 am-12 pm (classes rotate daily between these tim...
