Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design

Founded in 1964, PolyU School of Design (PolyU Design) is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2024. It remains the only UGC-funded institution that offers degrees in design at all levels. PolyU Design became well-known as a design school in the heart of people in Hong Kong starting in the 1980s: The School was renamed the Swire School of Design and launched several BA progammes. The first taught postgraduate degree in Design, MA in Design, was offered in 1990.
