The Hong Kong Polytechnic University - School of Design

Founded in 1964, PolyU School of Design (PolyU Design) is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2024. It remains the only UGC-funded institution that offers degrees in design at all levels. PolyU Design became well-known as a design school in the heart of people in Hong Kong starting in the 1980s: The School was renamed the Swire School of Design and launched several BA progammes. The first taught postgraduate degree in Design, MA in Design, was offered in 1990. Since 2000, the School has focused on innovating through its curriculum and improving its research and knowledge transfer capacity.
