The broken stereotypes

Jordan was nothing a typical American would think it would be. Images of bombings, terrorist, and radical Islam often suffocate us that the lie the media feeds us becomes the truth. I have always though of Jordan as big desert with little to no civilisation. The minute we landed, everything I was fed, I realized was a lie. Jordanians are the kindest and most hospitable people we will ever meet. When you come to Jordan, you will have a home, family, and food. There is so much rich history and language. Everyday, you will find something fun to do whether it's going to east Amman to try the popular street fufuol or going to Taj Mall to hang around with friends and shop. I would recommend the Jordan experience to anyone willing to step outside there comfort zone and break the boundaries that separate Americans and the Middle East.
