The School the World Honduras program takes high school students from across the United States to a rural community in southern Honduras for one week of hands-on service. Participants help build a school from the ground up, contributing directly to a community that will use it for generations.

The program is as much about connection as it is about construction. Throughout the week, students form genuine relationships with local schoolchildren, teachers, and families who open their doors and their community to the group. At the end of the project, everyone comes together for a community celebration marking what was built together.
