While living with local host families in Cebu City and surrounding smaller towns, volunteers can work in orphanages or care centers helping disadvantaged children, teach English in both primary and secondary schools, do medical internships in the local hospitals, intern in journalism, coach sports, and learn the local Cebuano language.
