Cambodia is a must visit destination in South East Asia and an excellent place to volunteer abroad. Projects are available for anyone interested in volunteering in the developing world, whether you are on a gap year, summer vacation, or career break. Projects Abroad is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia's spirited and charming capital city, and in Siem Reap, the gateway to the Angkor Wat temples. In both locations volunteers live together in shared apartments close to the city centers.

We offer a variety of projects in Cambodia such as Care, Teaching, Medicine & Healthcare, Conservation & Environment, Microfinance, Journalism, Human Rights, and a Culture & Community project.

Volunteers ages 16-19 have the opportunity to join us on one of our High School Specials. These projects are structured and supervised. Volunteers follow a daily itinerary, including a weekend excursion. We currently offer Care & Community, Conservation & Community, and Medicine teen projects in Cambodia.
