You will assist with the rescue, care, and treatment of farm and domestic animals. The placements will be at either a private or government clinic. The former involves working with farm animals and conducting home visits. You will assist with pregnancy diagnosis, disease identification, and animal handling. You will also gain basic insight into animal husbandry. A placement at the government clinic involves working with domestic animals. You will observe the animals brought to the clinic and get the chance to help with minor procedures.

Previous experience isn’t required to join this program. You simply need to possess a desire to learn more about veterinary medicine as well as a passion for animals!
