We are currently seeking a volunteer coordinator for our HELP Literacy project. This role involves helping plan and deliver our project, which focuses on improving Spanish reading and writing skills. The position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to work with children while gaining an insight into the world of NGOs.

As the literacy project coordinator volunteer, you are responsible for the following:
- Planning and updating the HELP Literacy curriculum weekly classes at the Recreational Centre (The REC), in Cerrito de la Virgen
- Delivering weekly HELP Literacy classes
- Briefing and leading a team of supporting volunteers
- Participating in weekly volunteer meetings
- Maintaining all materials related to the project
- Coming up with new and creative ways to improve our classes

You are required to give around 25 hours of your time per week. Since HELP Literacy is one of our smaller projects, it only requires a few hours a week, so you also get to volunteer on some of our other projects such as HELP English, HELP Environment, and HELP Youth. Advanced Spanish is required for this role.
