Uplifting Social Volunteer Project in Cape Town South Africa

The organization is an NGO focused primarily on providing an early intervention literacy program. They focus on language enrichment by offering extra help and remedial assistance to children who are learning English as a second language. They currently have five centers operating in six schools around Cape Town. The children they help don't speak English but attend English-speaking schools. They are dependent on volunteers who teach the children once or twice a week or even more. All volunteers are fully trained to teach the program, which has been specifically designed by remedial teachers and a Speech and Language Therapist.
