Teach underprivileged children in schools in Cape Town in this placement with Magister South Africa. Volunteers and interns are welcome and will be based in one of the five centers in Cape Town, teaching learners and working closely with the team, as well as creating and organizing resources. 

Computer skills are a great advantage, possibly testing under supervision and helping with library duties. Emotional maturity is a prerequisite because the children in the centers come from varied and often troubled backgrounds.

Aside from working within the schools, interns and volunteers will assist with fundraising and administrative work. The center has a centralized office, and if an intern is specifically interested in joining their "working party," they can assist with the curriculum and re-writing of the training manual. 

Qualifications are:
- 17 years and over
- Available for a minimum of 4 weeks
- Emotionally mature and with a sense of humor
- Keen and flexible, plus the ability to think independently and to use initiative
- Able to work in a team and has an awareness to help change lives with this work
