Change lives at a special needs home for profoundly intellectual and disabled children in Cape Town with Magister South Africa. The home accommodates 90 residents, with each child needing specialized care every minute of their life. 

Each child's potential is explored and developed to fulfill their maximum potential in a stimulating environment. By caring for these residents, the home also provides help and relief to parents and siblings, allowing them to lead more normal lives. The home also provides the base from which students, medical practitioners, and others undertake learning into various aspects of the center's work in an effort to understand more about the needs of residents. 

This program is open to volunteers aged 18 and older, with a caring attitude and a desire to provide care and support. Duties include engaging in some or all activities performed in any of the center's four departments: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Nursing, or Speech and Language Therapy. Designated tasks may include assisting with therapies and helping with feeding. The center also takes on interns in the fields of Health, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy.
