Start building up your career through this internship in South Africa. The placement will be in an organization founded in 1994 to provide relief to communities hit hardest by the region’s HIV crisis. 

With the increasing number of HIV/AIDS cases but curtailed welfare spending, there was a great need for related initiatives. Hence, the organization developed programs to help affected people in local communities deal effectively with the financial and emotional strains of this disease. As a health intern, you will assist the group in their goal to help ease the burden through skills development. 

Your responsibilities include helping with income generation and skills development projects; spreading HIV/AIDS awareness; assisting the Red Ribbon Campaign; working at a non-medical site; undergoing ARV Treatment Literacy for Adherence; and taking part in the Vulnerable Child Program.

Qualifications 
- Study background in Health 
- A strong interest in the health industry 
- Good administrative and communication skills. 
- Past internship or work experience 
- Enjoy working with people from different cultural backgrounds
