Gain international experience in biotechnology through an internship at a startup, with an established parent company. They specialize in bio-services and biotechnology, areas you will familiarize yourself with over the months. You will join their team of more than 40 people, mostly comprised of scientists who provide special diagnostic tests and bioanalytical services.

Your duties include supporting the company’s ongoing research, development, and validation on bioprocess and bioreactor; conducting research on mammalian cell culture and developing an innovative solution for the biopharma industry; and assisting with work overflow from other projects whenever needed. You will generally be responsible for technical tasks, therefore related skills (in microbiology and analytical chemistry, for instance) are necessary.

Eligibility for this program includes:
- Minimum of undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, biotechnology, microbiology or a similar field 
- Good basic aseptic technique and general microbiology skills 
- Good basic chemistry and general analytical chemistry skills 
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets
