You will work for a globally known, one-stop research institution that develops advanced technology for the grape, brandy, wine, and deciduous fruit industries throughout South Africa. They offer a needs-driven service through research as well as technology development and transfer, ensuring economic profitability and growth. 

Their research consists of the following programs:
1. Genetics and Interactions of Host and Pathogens
2. Genetic Improvement of Plants Through Molecular Breeding (Molecular and In Vitro Breeding, Mass Propagation and DNA Fingerprinting)

Intern in the Biotechnology Department, working on varied tasks. You will also handle numerous projects, including DNA fingerprinting and genetics. You will contribute to client collaborations, serving as an asset to the team.

Qualifications for this program include:
- Studying towards a degree in Biotechnology, Food Technology, or other related fields 
- Previous work experience preferred 
- Solid Works and/or MatLab experience would be useful
