One of the best ways to gain a headstart in your career is to gain practical experience at an internationally recognized institution. Guarantee this through an Aerospace Engineering internship at the Electronic Systems Lab Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering.

For approximately 17 weeks, you will be exposed to the Faculty’s interdisciplinary and cutting-edge research. You will have the opportunity to work in their world-class laboratories and use advanced computational facilities.

As an intern, you will take care of (but not limited to) the following tasks: 
- Redesign the airship gondola to boost its aerodynamics and improve its functions (e.g. easier access to batteries and avionics)
- Draft additional features to the airship model, including external disturbances
- Design a linear controller for waypoint navigation
- Test the capability of controllers through Matlab or Simulink (for instance) simulation
- Compare new controllers to existing fuzzy logic controllers

Qualifications:
- Master students in electrical or electronic engineering or Aerospace Engineering 
- Strong background in this field
