Give your children the opportunity to have close encounters with African animals in a responsible way while contributing to a wildlife rescue and protection project. Based at a sanctuary located 20 minutes outside Bulawayo, the second-largest city in Zimbabwe, this project aims to rehabilitate and release animals back to the wild when possible. If it isn’t, staff at the center continues to care for the animals and include them in zoological studies, breeding programs, and other activities geared toward the future sustainability of each species. Duties in the center are related to the care of orphaned, sick, or injured animals.
