Early Childhood Education in Monduli, Tanzania

by: Involvement Volunteers International

Add first reviewSince 1989

This program provides a meaningful opportunity to support early education in Monduli by working with children aged 3–6 in kindergartens and younger primary school classes. Volunteers assist local teachers in building children’s English skills through creative, play-based activities such as drawing, singing, storytelling, colouring, and games. In rural areas, opportunities for practicing English are limited, so your contribution helps lay a foundation for future learning. During school holidays, volunteers can also teach English at the local community centre for children aged 6–16. Support teachers in kindergartens and lower primary school classes (Grades 1–2). Lead fun, interactive activities to teach English through play and creativity. Teach at the community centre during school holidays, working with children aged 6–16. Assist teachers with classroom management (10–30 children per class). Lead engaging activities—storytelling, singing, drawing, and games—to support language learning. Take the lead in small group activities to encourage participation and communication.
