Make a lasting impact in the lives of children in India! Join HEEALS (Health, Education, Environment and Livelihood Society), a grassroots civil society organization working to improve the lives of underserved communities through awareness, education, and engagement. This volunteer program is focused on promoting Health, Hygiene, and Education among children and adolescents—especially in vulnerable communities across urban and rural slums. Volunteers play a vital role in spreading awareness through interactive teaching, creative campaigns, and hands-on outreach activities. You’ll not only contribute to a meaningful cause but also experience the heart of Indian culture—its festivals, food, traditions, and everyday life. Location: Gurgaon, India (with outreach to rural and urban slums).

This journey through tropical medicine and humanitarian work has opened my heart to vibrant communities, resilient spirits, and pressing needs. In India, I’ve experienced moments of deep peace—and also witnessed the everyday struggle for something as basic as hygiene. After collecting data from 8 schools, we organized disease prevention workshops and raised funds to distribute over 300 soaps and first aid kits. It’s a small beginning—but beginnings matter. Soap by soap, penny by penny, I’ll keep moving forward—until this mission grows into something greater: a bridge of healthcare, dignity, and hope for those who need it most.
