Because Palestine is under occupation and enmeshed in a highly tense political situation, many people, unfortunately, do not know the beautiful side of this country, its history, culture, and traditions. Away from the glare of conflict, the daily lives of Palestinians in their homeland are relatively unknown to the outside world. The Palestinian Center seeks to remedy that most important aspect and to highlight and celebrate the positive side of Palestinian life.

The Volunteer as an Articles Writer in Palestine program is designed for those who wish to travel to Palestine and write about it as a means of presenting the rich cultural, historical, and traditional backdrops that the country and its citizens offer to the world. The writer will become immersed in the daily life of Palestine and Palestinians. This program presents a variety of topics – from archaeology and music to literature and business and from science and education to tourism and sightseeing, to name just a few. Only the sky and the writer’s imagination are the limits!
