What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite aspect of my job is definitely the dynamic interaction with a wide array of people—students, colleagues, and guests, including representatives of universities from abroad and partners from the professional sphere.
Engaging in a wide range of activities enriches my experience and keeps each day stimulating. Teaching allows me to impart knowledge while also learning from my students and the feedback they provide. The synergy between research and teaching fosters continuous growth, both personally and professionally, as it encourages exploration and innovation.
What challenges do you often face and how do you overcome them?
The diversity of roles I play in my position presents a significant challenge daily. Balancing the demands of being a teacher and researcher and fulfilling other roles in academia is challenging. As a teacher, I must deliver engaging lectures, support students, and assess their progress effectively.
Simultaneously, as a researcher, I'm tasked with conducting investigations, publishing findings, and staying abreast of the latest developments in my field.
Additionally, I may have administrative duties or leadership responsibilities within the institution. Managing these diverse roles requires strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
It's a constant endeavor to ensure that each aspect of my academic career receives the attention and dedication it deserves while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Fortunately, I'm grateful for the excellent support provided by the faculty staff, which aids in managing these challenges and achieving success in my varied roles.

What advice would you tell your pre-travel self?
If I could advise my pre-travel self, I would emphasize the importance of keeping calm and breathing deeply. This simple practice can help you stay centered and composed, regardless of the challenges or surprises that may arise along the way. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious, especially when faced with new experiences and uncertainties.
However, overcoming these feelings can lead to personal growth and a sense of accomplishment. By pushing through discomfort, you expand your comfort zone and build resilience and confidence, which can ultimately enrich your life in general.
