Graduation!!!
Describe a typical day at work.
I start early in the morning checking my emails, updating all the clients about their situation. Some of them are in the process of getting their visa or finding a place to live so as part of my job I help them with their questions and concerns.
Why do you do what you do?
Because I think everyone needs to live abroad at least once in their lives. It’s necessary to go see the world and experience a different culture. I like helping people to achieve this urge, it is very rewarding.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part, without doubt, is when I see the students get their certification and start their new lives as English teachers. I love seeing their excitement once they passed all their exams after the long process they took to be there.
How do you use your education and international background in your current role?
As I'm an English teacher, it is very easy for me to recommend to the candidates the best course for them. I also already had the experience of leaving my comfort zone in order to live abroad. I know exactly what they are experiencing, their doubts and concerns. It’s very easy for me to be empathetic and help them during their process of living and pursuing a career abroad.

In order to helpI try to talk to them everyday and help them feel more confident and at ease in their new environment.

Learning a new language is a great tool in the working area, for everyone. If you have the opportunity to do so, I'll say do it. It doesn't matter what degree you have, being able to speak more than one language will open a lot of doors for you.

Smiley faces after passing all your exams!
