Julia is a sophomore at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she is double majoring in biology and literature (with a creative writing poetry concentration). She is a news reporter for City on a Hill Press, an editor for Chinquapin Literary Magazine, a member of the UCSC Counseling & Psychological Services Student Advisory Board, and an assistant at a CoCurricular Programs Office that designs and delivers social justice-oriented events at UCSC. Julia loves poetry, activism, and working with the community.
