If you are a student who is interested in exploring Europe this summer and spending five weeks in a beautiful Mediterranean setting, The Glories of France is for you! This study and travel program is your opportunity to take a variety of university courses, including but not limited to French language, and to be introduced to the beauty, excitement and special flavor of southern France.
The core of the program is a five week stay in Montpellier with field trips and weekend excursions relative to the courses taken and enhanced by the setting of southern France. All classes taken in the Glories of France program carry three hours of college credit each and are held Monday through Thursday to allow long weekends for individual travel or group excursions. Students have a choice of several classes offered in English (courses vary from year to year) as well as classes in French language in several levels that emphasize oral proficiency and communication skills.

Field Trips and Optional Excursions:
Certain courses will require specific field trips as required by the professors. If there is an extra cost to the student, you will be sent a price list upon registration. This program includes a weekend excursion to Paris, the city of lights! Students who wish to expand their travel experience in France are also invited to join our exciting optional tour. Each year, our group explores a fascinating area (such as the French Riviera, Spain or Italy) where students can fully enjoy their study-travel experience.
