The NRCSA Center in Viareggio organizes Italian Language and Culture Courses for foreigners in one of Tuscany's most beautiful beaches. Programs are offered year round, but the best time to enjoy the beach is from April to October. Modern teaching methods are used and all courses are professionally organized. Each teacher has been trained to teach Italian as a foreign language, and are known for their ability to create a relaxed environment in the classroom. This helps students to learn faster by making them feel less pressured to perform. Communication and spoken language are emphasized in the courses, as is practical and everyday use of the Italian language.

Viareggio is one of the traditional and famous seaside resorts of Tuscany. Behind Viareggio, the Apuanian Mountains with their virgin countryside invite you to take part in fascinating excursions. Situated a few miles from Pisa, Viareggio offers good train and bus connections (just 1 hour from Florence) and the chance to visit Pisa, Florence, the Cinque Terre and the island of Elba.
