Description
Train to be an outdoor professional and gain important leadership skills! With our Leadership Semester, you will learn to set up belay systems, organize rescues, provide wilderness medical care, guide rafts down world-class rivers, lead groups through the Costa Rican rainforest and scuba dive in Bocas del Toro, Panama. You will engage with the locals and learn first-hand how to survive in the Costa Rican jungle. Certifications, work experience and leadership training are integrated into the program to make you a desirable instructor/guide for various organizations throughout the world. Earn up to 10 academic credits upon successful completion of course.
Highlights
The 65-day course is divided into seven distinct phases: Multi-Element Leadership training, Wilderness First Responder medical course, surf instructor training, whitewater river guide training, waterfront lifeguarding, technical ropes rescue, and scuba diving in Bocas del Toro, Panama.
